Design & implement MIS for core functions (sales, operations, inventory, finance)with clear data flows and governance.
• Build dashboards & reports (daily/weekly/monthly) using Advanced Excel and Google Sheets; standardize templates and automate refreshes.
• Automate workflows with Google Apps Script (custom functions, triggers,
email/slack alerts, form-handling, data cleaning, API pulls where applicable).
• Ensure data quality: validation rules, de-duplication, audit logs, version control,
and documentation.
• Drive analysis: variance, trend, and cohort analysis; create actionable insights andrecommendations for stakeholders.
• Stakeholder collaboration: gather requirements, translate into technical specs,
deliver on timelines, and train end-users.
• SOPs & documentation: maintain data dictionaries, process notes, and user guides for all MIS assets.
• Ad-hoc reporting for leadership with quick turnaround and high accuracy.
Must-Have Skills
• Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, Power Query / Get & Transform,
XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, dynamic arrays, nested formulas, data validation,
conditional formatting, charts.
• Google Sheets: QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA, IMPORTRANGE, named functions,
connected sheets; strong understanding of sheet architecture and performance.
• Google Apps Script & JavaScript: building automations, custom
menus, triggers (time-based/on-edit), REST API calls, error handling, and code
organization.


• Mathematics background preferred: comfort with statistics, ratios, growth/variance
math, forecasting basics.
• Data handling: cleaning, normalization, reconciliations, large dataset performance
techniques.
• Communication & documentation: clear written specs and stakeholder updates.
Nice to Have
• Basics of SQL (SELECT/JOIN/GROUP BY) for data extraction.
• Experience integrating Sheets/Excel with external tools (CRMs/ERPs) via APIs.
• Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Data Studio/Looker Studio, Power BI).
• Knowledge of inventory/operations metrics in manufacturing/solar domains.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering/Computer
Science/Commerce (or equivalent).
• Prior MIS or data analysis experience is a plus; strong freshers with the above
skills are welcome to apply.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• On-time delivery of scheduled reports (D/W/M) with ~100% accuracy.
• Reduction in manual reporting time via automation (target improvement %).
• Data quality: error rate, reconciliation success, and stakeholder satisfaction
scores.
• Adoption of dashboards/SOPs by business teams.
Reporting & Collaboration
• Reports to: Operations/Finance Lead (or as designated).
• Works closely with: Sales, Procurement, Projects/Operations, and Finance teams
