Looking for Candidate from Jewelry Industry
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary “Head of Product” to lead the product
development and strategy for our jewellery brand. This individual will drive the creation and
innovation of our jewellery collections, ensuring that all product offerings align with market
trends, consumer demands, and the brand's long-term vision. As the Head of Product, you
will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from concept to commercialization—while
collaborating closely with design, marketing, production, and sales teams to deliver
high-quality, profitable jewellery products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Vision
- Lead the development and execution of the product strategy, aligning with overall company
goals and market trends.
- Define and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap that enhances the
brand’s position in the market.
- Analyze market research, customer feedback, and industry trends to identify new product
opportunities and innovations.
- Oversee product portfolio management, ensuring a balanced mix of high-margin products,
seasonal collections, and core offerings.
2. Product Development & Innovation
- Work closely with design teams to create unique and market-leading jewellery designs that
resonate with the target audience.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept to prototype to final
product, ensuring all products meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Foster a culture of innovation, driving new product ideas and improvements in design,
materials, and manufacturing techniques.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure product positioning, launch strategies, and
promotional efforts effectively communicate the product’s value and appeal.
- Partner with sales and retail teams to understand customer preferences and adjust product
offerings to meet demand and market shifts.
- Work closely with supply chain and production teams to ensure product availability, timely
deliveries, and cost-effective production.
4. Product Lifecycle Management
- Monitor the product’s performance in the market, analyze sales data, and make
recommendations for improvements, product discontinuations, or new product launches.
- Lead seasonal collections and ensure alignment with retail calendars and industry events
(e.g., jewellery trade shows, fashion weeks).
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product success, including sales
volume, margin, and customer feedback.
5. Brand Development & Positioning
- Ensure that all products align with the brand’s identity, image, and messaging, maintaining
consistency across all touchpoints.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor products, ensuring that the brand maintains a
competitive edge in the jewellery market.
- Champion the brand’s commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction
through every product release.
6. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team, including product managers,
designers, and developers.
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration within the product team.
- Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and career growth opportunities for team
members.
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s
degree preferred).
Experience: 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on jewellery,
fashion, or luxury goods.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing high-end consumer products.
- Experience in managing product teams and cross-functional collaboration with design,
marketing, and operations.
- Strong understanding of jewellery materials, design trends, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with e-commerce, brick-and-mortar retail, and global distribution channels is a
plus.
