About The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Culture Head with a specialisation in Marathi to join us on our journey. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our mission to create culturally rich content. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of filmmaking, from pre-production to distribution, while also focusing on content marketing and promotion. What you will be doing: Provide expert guidance on the usage of Marathi in film scripts and dialogues. Oversee the entire filmmaking process, ensuring quality and cultural authenticity. Develop and manage budgets for Marathi projects, optimizing resource allocation. Supervise production and post-production activities, maintaining high standards. Plan and execute strategies for the distribution of Marathi content, ensuring wider reach. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote Marathi content.Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling promotional campaigns. Driving monetization opportunities in business. Responsible for Subscriber P&L, top line revenue, data led customer lifecycle management. Knowledge of budget preparation, cost estimating, monitoring, and fiscal management principles. Developing and maintaining relationships with creators, artists. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Marathi vertical. The role could be ideal for you if you Business leader with proven track record of leadership & high-impact strategic initiatives. Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long range goals. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Film, Media, Communication). Minimum of 5 years of experience in regional cinema with a focus on Marathi. In-depth knowledge of Marathi culture, traditions, and dialect nuances. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Passion for promoting regional cinema and preserving cultural heritage.
