Our extensive domain and technology expertise helps drive superior competitive differentiation, customer experiences, and business outcomesClient : LTIMINDTREEJob Type : CONTRACTRole:Oracle DB L2 AdministratorExperience:10+ YearsWork Location:Bengaluru,Chennai,Pune,Coimbatore, HyderabadPayroll on :People Prime World WideNotice :0 to 15 daysDetailed JD :Oracle DB L2 Administrator Support RoleShift Timings 24/7Role OverviewAn Oracle Database Administrator L2 Support is responsible for maintaining monitoring and optimising Oracle database environments This role focuses on operational stability patching performance tuning and incident resolution ensuring high availability and compliance with security standardsKey ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and availabilityMonitor database health using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager and respond to s promptlyTroubleshoot and resolve L2level database issues escalating to L3 when necessaryPerform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measuresApply Oracle patches RU RUR PSU CPU and perform prepostpatch validationsCoordinate with application teams for patching windows and rollback planningExecute and validate backups using RMAN and Data PumpPerform recovery operations as per defined SLAsAnalyse AWRASH reports and optimise SQL queries and database parametersImplement database security best practices manage user roles and ensure compliance with audit requirementsMaintain accurate documentation of configurations patch inventory and operational proceduresProvide regular health check and performance reportsRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture 11g12c19cProficiency in SQL PLSQL and UnixLinux shell scriptingExperience with RMAN Data Pump and Oracle Enterprise ManagerFamiliarity with Grid Infrastructure RAC environments and ASMUnderstanding of ITIL processes for incident change and problem managementBasic knowledge of automation tools Shell Python Ansible is an advantageCertifications Oracle Certified Associate OCA or higher preferredSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problemsolving abilitiesGood communication and collaboration skills for working with crossfunctional teamsAbility to work in 24x7 support environments and handle oncall duties
