As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical inquiries regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A main point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and increased issues.

As a Systems Engineer, you will talk to the customer's IT staff on a periodic basis. Either at the client's site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately sophisticated technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should have knowledge of some Oracle products and one platform that is being supported. You will be encouraged to work with only general mentorship from senior engineers and management and, in some areas may work independently.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis, while constantly achieving the highest levels of customer happiness is essential. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred with two years related experience.

- Minimum 6-8 years of experience with **certification in Oracle Product **. He/She should BE/ B.Tech
- OEM architecture understanding
- OMS Installation and troubleshooting
- OEM Agent installation and troubleshooting
- OMS and Agent Patching
- Basic understanding of type of targets like Cluster, Database, ASM, Listener, Weblogic, OHS, Golden Gate, Exadata, Super Cluster etc.
- Handson experience with Target discovery and troubleshooting of same.
- Understanding of Notifications in OEM
- Understanding of Blackouts in OEM
- Understanding of Dashboard and Information Publisher in OEM
- Understanding of Network
- OMS and Agent performance troubleshooting skills
- Provide support in addressing & resolving the issues for OEM target Configuration / Target discovery reported through Incident Management tool.
- Provide support in execution of DR drill on OEM and OMS.
- Providing administration support to the centralized OEM setup.
- Providing support for identifying, integrating the identified agents
- Implement upgrades/patches on agents using OMS
- Provide support in plug-in deployment and upgrade
- Jobs Scheduling on multiple nodes at varying time intervals.
- Monitor objects and events throughout the network.
- Customize your display using multiple graphic maps and groups of network objects, such as nodes and databases

- Integrate participating Oracle or third-party graphical tools e.g. Grafana etc.
- Implement patches, Fixes for OEM.

i. Assist OEM administration with configuration, patching, update, upgrade activities

ii. Assist with approved requirement request for calibration of events on quarterly basis.

iii. Implement patches, fixes for OEM software using OEM

iv. Dashboard reporting.

v. Executing Disaster Recovery (DR) drill of OEM (Oracle Management Service (OMS) and Database (DB))

Must be having Database Administrator or Weblogic Administrator skill

**Advanced expectations for OEM Administrator**
- OEM HA and DR architecture understanding
- Familiar with OEM repository schema and objects and ability to write SQLs against repository objects
- Understanding of Agent Gold Image
