Assistant Manager – Sales

Experience Required: Minimum 12 years in the rotary equipment industry.
Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).12 years of sales & service experience in the field of Mechanical Seals or Rotary Equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager - Sales & Service shall be responsible for serving customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations/applications of mechanical seals. The selected candidate will be required to travel to customers located across the northern part of India (Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, J&K and Chandigarh).
Job Duties:Identify current and future customer requirements for mechanical seals by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers with Key Accounts such as EIL, IOCL, GAIL, NTPC, NPC, etc.Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by promptly responding to questions and requests from OEMs such as KSB, Sulzer, Flowserve, KBL, KEPL, RP, etc.Establish new accounts and service existing accounts by identifying potential customers and organizing sales call schedules.Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environments and proposing changes accordingly.Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.Submit offers by conferring with technical support staff.Develop customer confidence by providing technical information and training.Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information, engineering trends, and application data.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills & Qualification:Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical seals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven track record in sales and customer service in the mechanical seals & rotary equipment industry.Ability to travel extensively within Delhi and the northern region of India.Problem Solving & Failure Analysis.Product Knowledge & Trouble Shooting.Presentation SkillsCommunication skills in verbatim and vocal.
