Position Overview :

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of our firefighting solutions specifically designed for commercial sites. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the firefighting industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services.


Key Responsibilities :


Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the designated territory.


Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.


Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing customized firefighting solutions to meet their requirements.


Product Knowledge and Presentation: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our firefighting products and services, effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value proposition to clients through presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.


Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, track sales performance metrics, and generate regular reports to monitor progress towards targets.


Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and superior customer satisfaction.


Training and Development: Provide product training and sales support to channel partners, distributors, and internal sales teams to enhance their product knowledge and sales effectiveness.


Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement, market expansion, and product development based on customer feedback and industry insights.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus .

Proven experience in sales and business development roles within the firefighting industry, preferably with a focus on commercial markets.

Strong understanding of firefighting equipment, systems, and industry standards.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Result-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
