Role & responsibilities

INSTITUTIONAL DEALER

Equity Dealer- Institutional Broking

Key Responsibilities :

  • Executing Trade Orders both on BSE/NSE Cash mkt/ Derivatives mkt terminals and on Bloomberg with 0% dealing error
  • Having experience of DMA ( one touch/ direct ) trade.
  • Having Experience to trade on various trading platform like Omnesys / Odin /TCS with risk parameter
  • Having a knowledge of Algo trading
  • Having knowledge of BOD and EOD process
  • Having a knowledge of Mapping of client code on Bloomberg fix
  • Assisting in brokers empanelment
  • Prepare and upload beginning-of-day orders' batch files, monitor trade executions, refresh end-of-day orders' batch files.
  • Develop and maintain a long-term relationship with customers and secure dealing votes from institution clients.
  • Generate block leads from clients, work on mandates to build book and getting block executed is the key role
  • Assisting clients for best execution , vvap and to reduce impact cost
  • Communicating trading ideas, tracking the client portfolio and keep feeding him on their interest
  • Meeting clients, coordinating with research and sales team to cater to clients- interests
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients as part of client servicing
  • BSE 6a/7a and NSE OTR file reporting system
  • Exchange bulk / block reporting system
  • Trade confirmations to client, custodian and the exchange.
  • STP reporting to custodian and clients
  • Back office knowledge like contract generation, pay in/ pay out also required.
  • To keep track on Corporate action announced
  • Having experience in QIP and OFS trade

INSTITUTIONAL DEALER

  • To keep track on New Listing
  • Managing various regulatory compliances relating to dealing. Communication with all regulatory
    authorities and outside parties.
  • Should be able to read market price movements and have a decent market intelligence
    network. Having strong relationship with other mkt participant/ HNIs
    Candidate Profile :
  • Degree with 5/7 years of work experience as equity sales trader with leading institutional broker
  • Degree in Stock Market Course preferred.
  • Strong client / customer references
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge along with advanced knowledge of excel and market related
    terminals such as Bloomberg etc a must
