Legal Manager

Job Purpose: Supporting the General Counsel on legal and compliance responsibilities pertaining to the activities of Client Group and its assets
Budget: 40 LPA
Key Responsibilities:• Drafting / reviewing all contracts pertaining the acquisition of one or more assets by Client and working with team and external counsel on such contracts. Leading the completion of allassociated deliverables in connection with each such acquisition• Drafting / reviewing all financing documents in connection with any debt facility obtained byClient or its assets and working with team and external counsel on such documents. Leadingthe completion of all associated deliverables in connection with each such debt facility• Track reporting requirements under all long-term contracts executed by Client and its assets• Preparing updates covering legal / compliance developments with respect to Client• Legal review of investor material and periodic reports pertaining to Client• Review of all SEBI disclosures and stock exchange filings• Tracking the progress of all legal deliverables and providing regular updates to managementthough the general counsel• Reviewing legal queries raised by various stakeholders and preparing responses. Coordinatingwith external counsel where necessary for preparing the responses• Reviewing and recommending revisions to standard lease documentation to reflect newrequirements
Qualifications and Work Experience:• 7 years of post-qualification experience• Experience in general corporate and M&A transactions• Experience in law firm / mix of in-house legal and law firm preferred• Experience in legal due diligence, drafting of documentation and transaction closing• Experience in real estate sector not mandatory, but preferred• Experience of debt transactions is a plus• Strong communication skills, specifically an ability to explain legal concepts in layman’s terms• Strong negotiation skills
