Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Aws Data Engineer
In this role, We are looking for an experienced data engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and analytics, with expertise in building robust data pipelines and optimizing data workflows. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs. 
Responsibilities 
· Design and implement scalable solutions using AWS native technologies like AWS Lambda, AWS Dynamo DB, AWS batch, AWS Step functions and AWS Event Bridge
· Develop and optimize data storage solutions, with strong coding experience in Java/Python.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
· Perform performance tuning and optimization of data workflows and queries. 
· Create documentation for data architecture, processes, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing across teams. 
· Work closely with analytics teams to enable advanced reporting and machine learning capabilities.
 
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Strong experience working in AWS data services, data engineering & transformation projects.
· Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, OLAP concepts and data modelling concepts
· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
· Experience on Agile way of working
Mandatory Skills:
· Proficiency in AWS native technologies like AWS Lambda, AWS Dynamo DB, AWS batch, AWS Step functions and AWS Event Bridge. 
· Strong programming skills in Python / Java for data processing and transformation. 
· Experience with ETL/ELT processes and designing data pipelines. 
· Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices for scalability and security. 
 
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
· Experience in Banking projects using AWS. 
· Certification in AWS (such as AWS Developer / architect). 
· Good communication & documentation skills, in both verbal and written.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
