What we are looking for

We are seeking a Finance Controller to join our fast-paced global firm. If you possess a passion for mathematical logic, a keen eye for numbers, a drive for continuous learning, and thrive on challenges, then this role presents an exciting opportunity for you. You will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, maintaining integrity, and demonstrating exceptional mathematical proficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Profit and Loss Management: Oversight of P&L statement, project-level, and account-level profitability calculations.
  • Cost Analysis and Forecasting: Evaluate and manage salary versus overhead costs, analyze pricing, variable contributions, and develop revenue and cost forecasts.
  • Financial Structure Maintenance: Ensure the integrity of our pyramid structure in India and the US.
  • Banking Relationship Management: Coordinate forex exchange rates, short-term and long-term investments, and salary account openings with banking partners.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage customer interactions, agreements, invoicing, and realization processes.
  • Team Staffing Review: Establish a framework for reviewing team staffing and billable hours, creating leading indicators to monitor financial health.
  • Financial Reporting: Develop monthly cash flow and management information system (MIS) reports.
  • Payroll and Expense Management: Oversee employee payroll, reimbursements, booking, and invoice management for internal activities and expenses.
  • Taxation Compliance: Handle TDS submission, GST submission, recovery, and other taxation compliance requirements.
  • Competitive Benchmarking: Conduct competitive benchmarking through financial report analysis.
  • Financial Operations Oversight: Review financial statements, audits, and suggest improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Correspond with various departments, aligning company plans and future paths.


Required Skillsets:

  • Qualification: CA/MBA in Finance with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Financial Management Experience: Solid experience coordinating audit activities, managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Market Insight: Extensive understanding of financial trends, both within the company and in general market patterns.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, QuickBooks, Tally, and advanced Excel.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are followed.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
