Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork & Excavation : Conduct archaeological surveys, site assessments, and excavations to uncover historical artefacts.Analysis & Research : Use advanced tools such as GIS, remote sensing, and laboratory analysis to interpret findings.Project Development : Design and execute research projects to explore historical and cultural contexts.Reporting : Prepare detailed documentation, scholarly articles, and public presentations of findings.Collaboration : Work alongside historians, conservators, and engineers on multidisciplinary projects.Compliance : Ensure adherence to legal and ethical guidelines for archaeological site management.Public Engagement : Participate in community outreach programs to promote awareness of cultural heritage.

Requirements

Education : Master’s degree in Archaeology or a related discipline is mandatory.Experience : 10+ years of professional experience in archaeological projects.Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with archaeological methods, GIS, remote sensing, and artefact preservation.Research Skills : Strong analytical abilities for interpreting complex historical data.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed reports.Teamwork : Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Attention to Detail : Keen organizational skills to manage extensive documentation and data.
