Key Responsibilities

- Fieldwork & Excavation: Conduct archaeological surveys, site assessments, and excavations to uncover historical artefacts.- Analysis & Research: Use advanced tools such as GIS, remote sensing, and laboratory analysis to interpret findings.- Project Development: Design and execute research projects to explore historical and cultural contexts.- Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation, scholarly articles, and public presentations of findings.- Collaboration: Work alongside historians, conservators, and engineers on multidisciplinary projects.- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and ethical guidelines for archaeological site management.- Public Engagement: Participate in community outreach programs to promote awareness of cultural heritage.

Requirements

- Education: Master’s degree in Archaeology or a related discipline is mandatory.- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in archaeological projects.- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with archaeological methods, GIS, remote sensing, and artefact preservation.- Research Skills: Strong analytical abilities for interpreting complex historical data.- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed reports.- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.- Attention to Detail: Keen organizational skills to manage extensive documentation and data.
