Job Profile- Solution Architect.Job Location- MohaliJob Brief:We are looking for a System Architect with deep expertise in designing high-performance, scalable, and future-ready platforms . The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience building distributed, low-latency systems for financial markets and can balance innovation with reliability. You will define the architectural vision, guide engineering teams, and ensure our trading infrastructure evolves to meet the demands of scale, speed, and global expansion.Role & Responsibilities:Architecture & System Design● Architect and evolve scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-throughput systems that support real-time market data and order execution.● Establish and maintain architecture principles , design standards, and best practices tailored to different environments.● Translate complex business requirements into robust, modular, and maintainable system designs.● Make key design and technology decisions ensuring performance, scalability, and security .Modernization & Optimization● Lead refactoring of legacy components to modern microservices or event-driven architectures.● Continuously improve performance, reduce latency, and enhance system resilience. ● Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures and container orchestration for elastic scalability.Technical Leadership● Mentor and guide engineering teams on architecture, performance tuning, and distributed system design.● Conduct architecture and code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and consistency across services.● Foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.Engineering Discipline & Reliability● Implement strong DevOps and observability principles — focusing on automation, monitoring, and fault recovery .● Ensure compliance with secure coding practices , audit requirements, and regulatory standards.● Collaborate with QA and DevOps to maintain system stability, scalability, and availability.Quality Assurance:● Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of quality assurance processes, ensuring that the software meets the defined standards and specifications.Documentation:● Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for code, design decisions, and architectural considerations.Requirements:● 15+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in distributed systems.● Proven track record in architecting and building trading systems or financial market platforms (execution, risk, pricing, or data).● Strong command of modern tool like Kafka , RabbitMQ, PostgreSql, Spark . ● Hands-on experience with microservices , Docker , and Kubernetes .● Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP) and infrastructure as code principles. ● Deep understanding of multi-threading , concurrency , low-latency design , and fault tolerance .● Exposure to FIX protocol , market data streaming , or order routing systems is preferred.● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.● Growth-oriented mindset — passionate about designing systems that scale and evolve with technology.● Fluent in English (written and verbal).Company Link- the Company:Finvasia is a multi-disciplinary, multinational organisation that owns and operates over a dozen brands across financial services, technology, real estate and healthcare verticals.
