Role : Sr. MEP Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 8 to 12 years

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Planning and Design: MEP Engineers are responsible for planning and designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within buildings. This includes developing policies, standards, inspection procedures, and evaluation tools related to MEP concerns. They also prepare and review drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for these systems.
  • Project Management: As part of the project management team, MEP Engineers manage multiple MEP projects. They ensure seamless coordination from design to delivery, minimizing problems during the project lifecycle. Project management software, AutoCAD, and word processing programs are commonly used tools for creating MEP plans.
  • Team Management: MEP Engineers oversee the MEP Engineering team, which typically includes the Lead Mechanical (MEP) Engineer, Electrical Engineer, and MEP Inspectors. They ensure that day-to-day duties are performed professionally and efficiently to support ongoing project progress.
  • Efficiency and Compliance: MEP Engineers ensure that essential systems (such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) are designed, installed, and functioning efficiently. They adhere to relevant codes and standards to maintain safety and compliance3.
  • Reporting and Communication: MEP Engineers complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports based on project requirements. They actively communicate with co-workers during equipment operation and plant system installation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50, ₹75,000.42 per month
