About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer with a strong focus in React(using Typescript) and a minimum of 1+ years of experience in creating web applications. You will be responsible for the development, design, and implementation of our new website's front-end aspects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Developing new user-facing features using React.js and Typescript
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services.
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Implementing an intuitive user interface
  • Designing engaging website layouts
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Managing the react codebase
  • Mentoring the fellow juniors


Essential Skills:

  • React.js Expertise:  1+ year of experience building applications with React.js and TypeScript.
  • API Integration:  Proven ability to integrate APIs seamlessly into React applications.
  • JavaScript Mastery:  Strong proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals, including DOM manipulation and the object model.
  • React.js Deep Dive:  Thorough understanding of React.js concepts and core principles.
  • Modern JavaScript:  Familiarity with the latest EcmaScript specifications.

Desired Skills:

  • State Management:  Experience with popular React state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
  • Data Structures:  Experience using data structure libraries for efficient data handling,
  • Authentication:  Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
  • Build Pipelines:  Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and pipelines.
  • Performance Optimization:  A knack for benchmarking and optimizing React applications for smooth performance.
  • Version Control:  Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Plus Points:

  • Frontend Design:  Familiarity with basic CSS and design tools like Figma.
  • Backend Knowledge:  1+ year experience with Python and its frameworks (Django/FastAPI) and Postgres for a well-rounded skillset.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient understanding of TypeScript with ReactJS
  • Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS
  • Able to replicate Figma design to React code.
  • Experience in optimizing components for all browser platforms
  • Strong portfolio of both front-end and back-end development
