What does this role hold for you?
The Business Engagement and Strategy team drives growth strategy and monetization for the company, managing sales strategy, operations, and processes. We seek a Senior Manager with analytics, program, and people management experience to lead business initiatives, develop processes, and optimize functions to achieve company goals.
The role involves collaborating with business development, enhancing data tools, and managing goal segmentation. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to create impactful reports and presentations. The selected candidate will also work with CXOs on strategic initiatives, contributing to a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Housing Business Engagement & Strategy, will drive business planning, strategic initiatives, and operational cadence. Partnering with leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance, they’ll be a trusted advisor on growth and performance.
Key responsibilities include designing annual/quarterly plans, go-to-market strategies, and scaling processes. They’ll drive business insights on markets, revenue, and product trends, manage cross-functional projects, and enhance internal CRM tools for sales productivity. With strong stakeholder management, they’ll support key revenue initiatives and lead a team of 3-5, delivering strategic, data-driven insights to inform executive decisions.
Apply if you have:
a) An MBA/Engineering Degree from top B-School/Engineering institute with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Business Planning, Strategy, Finance, Consulting or other related fields.
b) Experience hiring and managing high-performing teams with at least 2 years of people management experience.
c) Proven experience with the development and implementation of systems/tool utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, etc.
d) Program Management and Operations experience working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects, and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment with time constraints and sometimes conflicting deadlines requiring one to stretch.
e) Proven ability in storytelling and presentations utilizing tools such as PowerPoint and Google slides.
f) Strong business-process and system design experience.
g) Sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.
h) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management.
i) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
j) Hands-on and in-depth experience in using MS office products specifically MS Excel & PowerPoint is a must; Proficiency with additional data tools like Tableau, Power BI etc. is a plus.
k) Proficiency in VBA, Macros, MS Access, Google Sheet Scripts and SQL (desirable).
l) Skill to break complex problems into smaller ones and enjoy working with data.
m) Experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks.
n) Experience working within a high-growth, technology company would be highly beneficial.
o) An aptitude for being Intellectually curious and being a fast learner, be able to work independently and be comfortable with ambiguity, whilst keeping focused on high impact projects.
p) Ability to execute at a strategic level and roll up the sleeves and do the work; easily able to shift from one to the other.
q) Discipline in setting and managing priorities and results and holding people for accountability.
