Job Profile: Head of Commercial Head of Commercial Haridwar Factory

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven individual to lead our Haridwar factory as the Head of Commercial for our Haridwar Factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall management and operational excellence of the plant, with a primary focus on the production of our various rockfall protection systems. This leadership role requires a strong background in factory operations, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, vendor management with a commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Management: Oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure the production targets for rockfall protection systems are met efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all factory functions, including production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the entire factory team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Quality Control: Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure all products, particularly those related to steel, wire, and wire ropes, meet the highest industry standards.
• Resource Management: Effectively manage raw materials, machinery, and human resources to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Health and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and implement best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Budgeting and Reporting: Manage the factory's operational budget and provide regular, comprehensive reports to senior management on key performance indicators (KPIs), production metrics, and operational challenges.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with other departments, including Supply Chain, Sales, and R&D, to ensure smooth and efficient factory operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: A minimum of 10-12 years of proven experience in managing a manufacturing facility, preferably within the steel, wire, or related heavy engineering sectors.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or a related field) is highly desirable.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly those involving steel, wire, and wire ropes, is a significant advantage.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges effectively.
• Safety Acumen: A strong commitment to and knowledge of industrial health and safety standards.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
