We are looking for a 
Data Analyst Associate
 to join our product team and help transform data into actionable insights. In this role, you will work closely with the Product Manager, Product Associate and other stakeholders to analyse user behavior, track key metrics and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Management

  • Gather, clean and maintain structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Document and maintain data definitions, metrics, and tracking implementations.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, correlations, and insights.
  • Monitor key product metrics (e.g., retention, engagement, conversion rates) and report on performance.
  • Create dashboards and automated reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).

Product & Funnel Analysis

  • Analyze user journeys, drop-off points, and behavioral patterns to optimize product flows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product features through data-backed insights.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define success metrics for new features and updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing teams to provide data insights.
  • Assist in setting up tracking and event-based analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
  • Support ad-hoc data requests from different teams to inform business decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in 
    Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science
    , or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence (internships count)

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in 
    SQL
     for querying and manipulating data.
  • Experience with 
    Excel/Google Sheets
     for data visualization and analysis.
  • Familiarity with 
    BI tools
     like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (bonus).
  • Knowledge of 
    Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude
     is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.
