Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Guwahati. This full-time, mid-level position requires expertise in database management, performance tuning, and security. The role involves managing and optimizing databases to ensure high performance and availability. The ideal candidate should possess both mandatory and required skills to effectively support our digital platforms and networks.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Database, particularly in performance tuning for optimal database operation (Mandatory skill).
  • Expertise in managing and operating databases for large-scale applications (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong skills in database performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient database operation (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with Database management and maintenance for enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of installation and configuration for various business applications.
  • Familiarity with databases and their deployment in diverse application environments.
  • Understanding of database security practices to protect data integrity and privacy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT and software teams to integrate database solutions with cloud services.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Perform regular database tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Implement database security measures to safeguard sensitive data from unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to support new applications and database features.
  • Conduct regular backup and recovery tasks to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Monitor database performance and implement changes as necessary to improve resource usage.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for database-related issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
