This role offers an excellent opportunity for B.Sc or B.Pharma graduates who are passionate about the industry and eager to grow within a dynamic environment. Job Summary: The junior manufacturing chemist will be responsible for executing production activities, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of cosmetic production and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: *Execute and oversee production processes for cosmetic and cosmeceutical products such as creams, gels, shampoos, talcum powders, oils, and hair removers. *Assist in weighing, dispensing, blending, and mixing raw materials according to SOPs. *Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). *Conduct in-process quality checks and document results accurately. *Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the production area. *Maintain detailed records of production activities and batch documentation. *Work on process improvements, including exploring new chemicals or formulations to enhance quality and reduce costs. * Responsible for taking initiative in the batch making of products. *Support implementation of new technologies and process modifications. Requirements & Skills: *Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc) or Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized institution. *Up to 3-4 years of experience in cosmetic or cosmeceutical production is preferred. *Basic understanding of chemical interactions and formulation processes. *Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and safety protocols. *Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. *Strong interest in the cosmeceutical industry and a willingness to learn new skills. *Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to following procedures. *Proficiency in computer applications and familiarity with AI tools like “Where & How” is a plus Benefits: Comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.
