KGiSL is Hiring for Senior Devops Engineer across India


Experience : 8+ years

Location : Remote across India.


The ideal candidates will have extensive experience with AWS, Jenkins, and OpenShift, with a bonus for familiarity with Groovy scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and integrate various tools to support development processes.
  • Manage on-premise to cloud migrations, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.
  • Deploy AWS instances as needed and maintain container management integrations using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Lead scripting efforts for server patching, infrastructure as code updates, and routine maintenance of Java and Tomcat environments.
  • Collaborate across projects and teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of DevOps experience with significant exposure to AWS environments.
  • Proficiency in Jenkins for pipeline management and OpenShift for application scaling.
  • Strong Groovy scripting skills (bonus) and experience managing Java applications.
  • Experience leading cloud migration projects with a strategy for both cloud-native and containerized applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with Ansible is preferred.
  • Experience with DevOps scripting, particularly in Ansible, is highly desirable, as there are numerous scripts in that language.
