Visit and know more about us – Job Title Senior Engineer_Application Operations - APIGEE, JMS, IBM MQ, Microservices Years of Exp 4 to 6 Skills Detailed Job Description for Application Operations - APIGEE, JMS, IBM MQ, MicroservicesExperience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API Management platforms like APIGEEAt least 3 years of relevant working experience in DevSecOps, Task Automation, or GitOpsProficient in developing APIs in APIGEE, troubleshooting API failuresExperience with tools like Postman, Fiddler, JMeterGood understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service Technologies SOAP, REST, OAuth 20, Basic Auth, JWT, SSO implementation, XML/JSON transformations, logging policies, KVM, CachingShould have experience in platform support and resolving the PROD and NON-PROD appcloud engineering experience GCP building effective cloud tech solutionsunderstanding of CI/CD pipelineThis role specializes in performing remote technical support of MQ and MQ Appliance, skills with Linux/Unix and Windows are required.Maintain IBM MQ based systems to meet client requirementsTroubleshoot and provide resolution/work around for issues in IBM MQ.Provide users with assistance in problem determination and resolution; escalate problems as specified by the Service LevelsParticipate On-Call support beyond business hours on rotation, for priority 1 issues as necessary.Coordinate with Level 3 support team for the issues requiring code changes.What You will bringMinimum of 2 years of experience with IBM ISB/MQ APIGEE and Micro ServicesExperience implementing IBM MQFluent English and ability to read technical documentation Automation and manual scriptsWeekly restart for Apigee's major componentsMonitoring Application healthManagement of non-Production environment operationsApply Apigee application specific security patches and updates.Queue Manager monitoring – Monitoring logs for warnings and error messagesChannel status monitoring – Monitoring channel status to confirm that all the channels are functional.Queue depth monitoring - Monitoring critical queue depths to confirm they remain below the threshold limits.Monitoring dead letter queues and share insights with other teams as appropriate. A dead letter queue is a service implementation to store messages that meet one or more of the following criteria:a. Message sent to a queue that does not exist.b. Queue length limit exceeded.c. Message length limit exceeded.d. Message rejected by another queue exchange.e. Message reaches a threshold read counter number because it is not consumed.f. Setup new MQ environmentg. Creation of new Queue managerh. Channel creation/configurationQueues creation/configurationApplication specific security patches and updatesManagement of non-Production environment operationsMonitoring application healthParticipate with Verizon MQ vendor during product version upgrade and major releases.atches and updates
