General Manager - Project Instrumentation | Chikhli (Near Surat) | Central Projects Department Roles & Responsibilities​ Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of all instrumentation precise calibration of field instruments and control devices.Validate and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and DCS system P&ID diagrams, loop drawings, and technical instrumentation sensor selection, control valve sizing, and actuator instrumentation compliance with project specs and industry standards.Oversee FAT, SAT, and pre-commissioning activities for instrumentation systems.Coordinate with EPC teams to align instrumentation with project timelines.Monitor instrumentation budgets, procurement schedules, and resource utilization.Identify project risks related to instrumentation and implement mitigation plans.Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering , Electrical Engineering , or Automation . Master’s Degree (optional but beneficial) in Engineering , Project Management , or related fields. Certification in Project Management (, PMP) is often preferred for senior roles. Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of experience in instrumentation systems management, including 5-7 years in leadership roles. Proven track record managing large-scale projects, ideally in industrial, renewable energy, or power sectors . In-depth knowledge of instrumentation design , calibration , control systems , and automation tools like PLC, SCADA, DCS . Familiarity with international codes , standards , and regulations (, IEC, ISA, API).
