Job Title: Dropshipment Specialist
Location: Mohali (US Timings)
Reports To: E-commerce Manager / Operations Head
Job Overview:
We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized Dropshipment Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of e-commerce and dropshipping operations. You will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end dropshipping process, ensuring product availability, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. A strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
This is a remote position requiring working during US business hours (EST/PST).
Key Responsibilities:
Dropshipping Operations:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day dropshipping process, including order processing, supplier management, and ensuring timely product fulfillment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that product availability and shipment timelines are met.
- Ensure that all orders are fulfilled correctly and promptly, providing a seamless experience for customers.
Inventory and Product Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that suppliers are maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Work with suppliers to manage and update product listings, including pricing, availability, and product descriptions.
- Identify and source new suppliers to expand product offerings and optimize profit margins.
Customer Service & Order Management:
- Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries related to dropshipped products.
- Resolve any product, shipping, or fulfillment issues, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Track and monitor orders to ensure delivery timelines are met, proactively resolving any delays.
Market Research & Supplier Relations:
- Stay up to date on the latest e-commerce trends and best practices in dropshipping.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure smooth operations and favorable terms.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements.
Strategy & Growth:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product offerings align with campaigns and customer needs.
- Help develop and implement strategies to scale the dropshipping business effectively.
- Continuously monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements in the process to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven experience in managing dropshipping operations, e-commerce platforms, or supply chain management.
- Experience with dropshipping tools and platforms such as Shopify, Oberlo, AliExpress, or similar is required.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) to manage relationships with suppliers and customers effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems creatively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Proficiency in working with e-commerce platforms and related software tools.
- Comfortable working in US business hours (EST/PST).
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in dropshipping or e-commerce operations is highly preferred.
- Experience with CRM software, inventory management systems, or e-commerce analytics tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of digital marketing or SEO strategies for e-commerce is beneficial.
