Summary

As an Application Lead , you will oversee the design, development, and configuration of applications within the SAP for Banking domain. You will serve as the key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and business units, ensuring that all deliverables meet project objectives and adhere to industry best practices. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive results in a complex, multi-team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP for Banking.
  • Collaborate with and manage cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Make critical decisions impacting multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Provide strategic solutions to complex problems that span across departments.
  • Facilitate training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen team skills.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must Have:

  • Proficiency in SAP for Banking modules and functionalities.
  • Strong grasp of application design and architecture principles .
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).

Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles .
  • Exposure to integration projects with banking systems.
