SAP Lead :

The SAP Lead will be responsible for the successful delivery of SAP solutions, leading project teams, and aligning SAP technology with business goals. The ideal candidate will have deep functional or technical expertise in one or more SAP modules, experience in SAP S/4HANA, and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrade, or support projects across modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.).

- Act as the primary point of contact between business users and SAP project teams.

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with stakeholders.

- Manage a team of SAP consultants, assigning tasks, and reviewing deliverables.

- Provide functional/technical expertise and hands-on support where required.

- Ensure solution design aligns with industry best practices and business requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration with third-party systems.

- Handle change management, training, and user adoption efforts.

- Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and data governance standards.

- Monitor system performance and resolve critical production issues efficiently.

Technical & Functional Skills :

- Strong knowledge in one or more SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, QM, HCM, SuccessFactors, etc.)

- Expertise in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations

- Understanding of SAP BASIS, ABAP, and integration frameworks (IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, PI/PO, CPI)

- Experience in working with Fiori, SAP Gateway, or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus

- Sound knowledge of SAP Activate methodology, ASAP, and Agile delivery practices

- Ability to coordinate data migration, cutover planning, and go-live support

- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and related documentation processes

- Experience with cloud integrations (AWS/Azure/GCP) and third-party interfaces is a plus

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline

- 6-7 years of experience in SAP project delivery, with at least 23 full lifecycle implementations

- SAP certification in relevant module(s) preferred

- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

- Ability to work with international teams and manage stakeholders across geographies

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of SAP GRC, SAP Ariba, SAP IBP, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

- Experience in leading SAP projects in manufacturing, retail, pharma, or BFSI domains

- Exposure to SAP RISE or SAP on Cloud deployments
