Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Techno-Functional Consultant – D365 Business Central to support and lead end-to-end ERP implementations and enhancements. This role bridges the gap between business processes and technical execution, making you instrumental in understanding customer needs, translating them into solution architecture, and ensuring successful delivery within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Implementation
Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
Configure Business Central modules (Finance, SCM, Projects, etc.) based on business needs
Develop customizations, reports, and extensions using AL and Visual Studio Code when required
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure integrations, migrations, and custom developments are aligned with best practices
Client Interaction & Consulting
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during requirement workshops, UAT, and go-live phases
Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and functional enhancements
Assist in documenting business processes, creating user manuals, and delivering user training sessions
Work in close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
Technical Execution
Conduct fit-gap analysis and provide recommendations for system improvements
Participate in code reviews, test plans, and deployment cycles
Collaborate with Microsoft support for escalations and complex issue resolutions
Ensure adherence to coding standards, data security, and compliance policies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field
Microsoft certifications in D365 Business Central (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in D365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV in a techno-functional capacity
Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, inventory, or services industries
Proficiency in AL language, extensions, and Business Central development environment
Experience in data migration, integrations, and third-party tool configuration
Key Skills & Competencies
Functional expertise in ERP processes with technical fluency
Hands-on experience in BC customization and configuration
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams
Strong customer orientation and ability to manage stakeholder expectations
