Overview: The HR (Retail) role is crucial in ensuring the seamless functioning of HR operations within the retail sector. This role is responsible for overseeing various HR functions specific to the retail industry such as recruitment employee relations performance management and compliance with labor laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Implement and manage recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for the retail sector.Oversee employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance handling.Develop and execute performance management processes tailored to the retail industry including KPI setting and performance appraisals.Design and deliver training programs specific to retail including onboarding product knowledge and customer service.Ensure compliance with labor laws safety regulations and company policies within the retail environment.Manage and resolve daytoday HR issues within the retail outlets.Collaborate with store management to address HRrelated concerns and provide necessary support.Analyze HR metrics and data to drive informed decisionmaking in the retail sector.Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored to retail operations.Conduct regular HR audits to ensure adherence to HR best practices and legal requirements within the retail environment.Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.Provide guidance and support on compensation and benefits administration specific to the retail industry.Partner with crossfunctional teams to support retail expansion and workforce planning initiatives.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes within retail.Required Qualifications:

Bachelor

s degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or related field.Proven experience as an HR generalist within the retail industry.Thorough understanding of retail HR practices including workforce management and labor laws.Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and selection processes specific to retail roles.Strong experience in employee relations and conflict resolution within a retail setting.Proficiency in implementing performance management systems suitable for retail environments.Experience in designing and delivering retailspecific training and development programs.Familiarity with compliance requirements related to retail operations including safety and employment laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with store teams.Ability to analyze HR data and metrics to drive actionable insights within the retail sector.HR certification such as SHRMCP or PHR is a plus.Proven ability to work in a fastpaced retail environment with multiple priorities.Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make sound HR decisions under pressure.Proficiency in HRMS and other relevant HR software utilized in the retail industry.Ability to adapt to changing retail trends and business needs to drive HR strategies.recruitment,employee relations,performance management,training and development,compliance,retail
