Job Description

Wife is looking for a Lead Brand Strategist – the ultimate master of contradictions 

 

They are big-picture thinkers, but know how to execute the minutest detail.

They live for integration, but have a laser sharp focus on the brand’s individual needs.

They are jack of all trades and still can master in marrying insight to equity. 

They talk in a way that compels one to listen yet listen like no one else can. 

They can lead the way, yet know when to share the candy.

They are expert jugglers, even when being there for everyone they interact with.

  • Be a brand’s better half – However it may be, thorough research, analysis, stick to tried and tested, disrupt it all to come up with strategies that they just can’t say no to – be it for positioning, communication, marketing, content et al.  
  • Be the client’s assurance - Engage continuously with brand owners/ clients/ representatives and be a bridge between the external and internal teams.   
  • Be your team’s best friend – Create a safe, inclusive, respectful space that encourages your team to flourish, flex and even flounder sometimes. Help your team navigate internally and externally, be there to make it easy for them to shine which would make you a star. 
  • Be forward – In Thought and Talk. Think forward and anticipate future trends, opportunities, and prospective successes for the brand. Be collaborative, a number thinker, and fact driven.   
  • Be a horizontal, to all verticals - Develop mutually symbiotic relationship with the brand, the creative team, the digital strategists and the operations of an execution.    
  • Be the exception, the contradiction - Create real and effective yet simple and disruptive short-term and long-term plans, calendars, and strategies – that will not only be inspirational but also actionable.   
  • Be growth obsessed – For you, for your team, for your work, for your clients, for your brands, for your company.

Requirements While we love meeting new people, but Wife can only have so much bandwidth. So, to save us both some heartbreaks, we will swipe right if 
  • You have Graduated / Post-graduated / hold a specialized degree  in one or more - Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Brand Planning with relevant experience. 
  • Your profession may not match your education, but you’ve still got a shot if you have proven experience  in the fields of Brand Building, Marketing or Advertising with a strong understanding of the industry. 
  • Your degree comes with a strong side of soft skills  like confidence, tact, people skills, good instincts, strong command of language (oral and written), high emotional quotient, curiosity and ingenuity. 
  • You are a natural (or naturalized) leader . You will be a role model to many so you’ve got to have the props to truly live up to that. 
  • You are a MS-Office maestro . You get extra brownie point if you’re on-point with your PowerPoint. 
  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience  in the same/ similar role. The more the merrier, your role and remuneration will be designed accordingly. 
  • You are a master multi-tasker  who can juggle many tasks and expectations easily. 
  • You are a research  romantic  and love to dive into research (primary and secondary) when needed for strategy and planning.
