Community ManagerAt Jitin Chawla’s Centre for Career Development, we don’t just counsel students-we build lifelong communities of students, parents, and mentors. With 25 years of trust behind us and thousands of students placed in top universities across the globe, we now want to strengthen our ecosystem by creating a vibrant community that connects current students, alumni, and parents.For this, we are looking for a Community Manager who will take ownership of building, nurturing, and activating this network.What the Role Involves- Alumni & Parent Relations: Maintain ongoing relationships with past parents and students. Regular check-ins, appreciation, and recognition that keep them connected to us and open to referrals.- Referral Network: Design and execute initiatives that encourage alumni families to refer new students—events, recognition programs, and structured communication.- Student Engagement: Keep our current student community buzzing with activities, updates, and collaborations, ensuring no student feels “lost.”- Storytelling & Content: Capture success stories, testimonials, and journeys from our students and families. Work with the team to publish these across newsletters, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and events.- Events & Activities: Organize alumni meetups, online sessions, student showcases, and parent panels that bring value and strengthen our community.- Feedback & Insights: Be the ears of the organisation—understand what parents and students feel, and bring that insight to leadership for continuous improvement.Who We’re Looking For- Someone who genuinely enjoys speaking with people, remembers details, and builds trust effortlessly.-- Background in community building, engagement, or client relations preferred, but more important is attitude and empathy.- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English (and Hindi a plus).- Organised, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple conversations and initiatives at once.About UsEstablished in 2000 by Mr. Jitin Chawla, an MBA graduate from the prestigious Faculty of Management Studies (University of Delhi), the Centre for Career Development has been a trailblazer in guiding students toward extraordinary careers.With over 24 years of expertise, we have:- Conducted 68,500+ workshops, inspiring students across 200+ schools globally, in countries such as Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, and India.- Helped aspirants secure admissions to world-renowned institutions like Cornell, LSE, King’s College, ANU, and many more.- We also have a strong media presence, regularly featured across various platforms, including electronic media such as NDTV (Mission Admission), Doordarshan, CNN-IBN, Delhi Aaj Tak Tez, Headlines Today, Lok Sabha TV, and more, where we host career-focused programs. Additionally, we are featured in print media like The Times of India (NIE), Education Times, Hindustan Times, and others, and on radio through AIR 102.6 FM, where we engage with students on query-based programs.
