Position Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Architecture build and strengthen a scalable, resilient and cost optimized architecture for Momentive Software.

The Director of Architecture is responsible for leading and managing the integration strategy, design, and implementation of enterprise-level architecture solutions. This role ensures that the integration architecture aligns with the overall business goals and supports seamless interoperability and common shared services across our products and platform services. The Director works closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient integration solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organization’s integration architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT initiatives.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of integration platforms and tools to meet current and future business needs.
  • Prototype shared and platform services demonstrating shared capability across the product lines.
  • Create a roadmap for integration projects that balances business priorities, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of scalable integration solutions, ensuring efficient data flow and system interoperability.
  • Establish best practices, architectural standards, and frameworks to guide integration development and operations.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to ensure consistency in integration design and adherence to architectural standards across all projects.
  • Work closely with project management and development leaders to gather requirements, define integration needs, and develop solutions that support business processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure integration solutions meet business requirements and contribute to overall success.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to maximize the value of integration solutions and tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in integration architecture.
  • Advocate for the adoption of new technologies and methods that improve integration efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
  • Continuously refine and optimize integration processes to support business agility and scalability.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred.)
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in R&D architecture
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, and middleware.
  • Strong expertise around transition from Monoliths to service based architectures
  • Proficiency in enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies and data exchange protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
