Roles

- Collate, summarise and format documents pertaining to Data Strategy that is the long-term plan for a data target-state.- Provide associated collateral to be used in presentations as agreed with senior management (e.g. tailored to different audiences)- Deliver a document capturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be used to track progress of the implementation of the Data Strategy- Organisation of repository to maintain documentation and relevant information (e.g.- SharePoint Site/Page).- Deliver documentation capturing the terms of reference, objectives, activities and actions of data quality, related templates and collateral.

Responsibility

- Overall accountability of project execution and deliverables as per agreed timelines- Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to document data strategy and vision, aligned with business goals and objectives.- Utilise previous experience to inform the Data Strategy with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.- Document a comprehensive roadmap, including short-term and long term goals, key initiatives, and implementation plans.- Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other business and technical stakeholders (e.g. data architects, data modelers, data engineers) to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the data strategy and track progress towards strategic goals.- Create and maintain documentation of the data strategy, including plans, policies, standards, and procedures, to ensure transparency and accountability.- Follow up on actions, commitments necessary to progress with the development and definition of the data strategy in related forums – analyse its implications and alignment to the data strategy- Engage with Data Governance team to align the Data Governance roadmap to the data strategy.
