Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and architect high-throughput, robust applications.

- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) documents that detail system architecture, data flow, and component interactions.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in all design decisions.

- Handle and monitor systems infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Mentor and guide junior to mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Provide technical leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company goals.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 6-8 years of total experience in software development and architecture.

- Proven track record as a founding engineer or in a similar role within an early-stage startup that has undergone multiple funding rounds.

Technical Skills:

- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Strong background in writing and designing robust, high-throughput applications.

- In-depth knowledge of one or more web application frameworks like Django, Node.js, or Spring.

Architectural Skills:

- Experience in creating and breaking down systems into High-Level Design (HLD)documents.

- Solid understanding of system architecture, data flow, and component interactions.

Leadership and Mentorship:

- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior to mid-level engineers.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Must Have

- Must have experience in Python, Django In depth knowledge of one or more web application frameworks like node, spring etc.

- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Experience writing and designing robust and high throughput applications

- Good experience breaking down systems into HLD documents.

- Proven track record as a founding engineer or in a similar role within an early-stage startup that has undergone multiple funding rounds.

Good to Have - Willing to mentor and guide junior to mid level engineers in the organisation.
