This role involves overseeing all HR operations, ensuring compliance with labour laws, driving employee engagement, and supporting the plant leadership in achieving business goals through effective people management.Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the HR function at the plant, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.- Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements related to labor and employment laws.- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture.- Manage industrial relations and maintain harmonious relationships with unions and employees.- Implement performance management systems and support talent development initiatives.- Collaborate with plant leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management at the plant level.- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.Desired Skills and Qualifications- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a plant HR leadership role.- Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations.
