Role Description
- Threat Monitoring and analysis of security alerts that triggered in Taegis XDR tool and other security tools such as Crowdstrike,Zscaler,proofpoint.
- Email Security via proofpoint (Performs deep investigation) and takes appropriate actions on true positive and false positive cases.
- Works on threat reports that comes from recorded future Intelligence tool and take preventative actions on IOCs.
- Works on alerts from TAP and TRAP module of proofpoint and pullout malicious email from the user inbox for further analysis and action.
- Works on Fortinet FWs, CISCO ASA, Palo alto for reviewing the threat traffic and alert.
- Track and remediate tickets in SNOW tool.
- Works on Azure AD, Azure Identity protection and Microsoft 365 defenders alerts.
- Makes monthly reports of alerts for higher management and to keep track the alerts status.
- Provide regular update to concerned stake holders/customer as per threat intelligence report from recorded future and OSINT providers and make sure all preventative actions is applied.
- Responsible for finetuning of alerts in taegis and for build custom alerts based on the requirement from customer.
