Chief Marketing Officer

FadFocus is an online platform that has partnered with over 320 offline fashion stores in Pune, providing them with the opportunity to expand their reach and sell their products online. As a team, we are dedicated to supporting local businesses and helping them thrive in the digital age.
We are in our initial stage and are looking for a dynamic and visionary CMO to take the platform to new heights.
PS: We are looking for a passionate co-founder(no advisors strictly) who'll work with us on a purely stake basis and will join us in investor meetings to raise funds. There won't be any salaries involved before funding and one who has the zeal to work as a cofounder and CMO - full time after raising funds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Create a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with FadFocus's brand vision and business goals, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Brand Positioning and Messaging: Develop and maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring consistent positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Trend Analysis and Insights: Stay abreast of current fashion trends, industry developments, and consumer behavior, utilizing data and insights to identify emerging trends and translate them into effective marketing initiatives.
- Digital Marketing Excellence: Drive digital marketing efforts, including social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and e-commerce strategies, to maximize online presence, engagement, and conversion.
- Customer Experience Optimization: Enhance the customer journey and experience, utilizing customer insights and feedback to improve engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
- Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives: Conceptualize, develop, and oversee the execution of innovative and impactful marketing campaigns that drive brand visibility, engagement, and revenue generation.
- Data Analysis and Performance Measurement: Utilize data analytics to assess marketing campaign performance, measure ROI, and optimize strategies and tactics to ensure continuous improvement and drive results.
- Team Leadership and Management: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, setting clear goals, providing guidance and support, and driving excellence in execution.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and nurture strategic partnerships and collaborations with relevant brands, influencers, and industry stakeholders to expand brand reach and create mutually beneficial marketing initiatives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, cost control, and ROI optimization.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, assess industry trends, and inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and operations, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and ensure seamless integration across departments.
- Industry Thought Leadership: Position FadFocus as an industry thought leader by participating in relevant conferences, events, and speaking engagements, and contributing to industry publications and thought leadership content.
- Ethical and Sustainable Marketing Practices: Champion ethical and sustainable marketing practices, ensuring alignment with FadFocus's commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and social responsibility.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or an advanced degree in marketing is strongly preferred.
- Professional Experience: Proven track record of success in senior marketing leadership roles, with some experience in the fashion, retail, or related industries. Prior experience as a manager or in a similar capacity is highly desirable.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the brand's objectives, drive growth, and establish FadFocus as a leading fashion authority.
- Trend Awareness: Strong understanding of current fashion trends, industry dynamics, and consumer behavior, with a keen eye for spotting emerging trends and translating them into actionable marketing initiatives.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and e-commerce strategies, to maximize online presence, engagement, and conversion.
- Brand Development: Proven experience in building and managing a strong brand identity, including brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity, to create a distinct and compelling brand presence in the market.
- Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in leveraging data analytics, market research, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance, ensuring a data-driven decision-making process.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, and drive a high-performance marketing organization.
- Creativity and Innovation: A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box, develop unique marketing campaigns, and differentiate FadFocus from competitors while pushing boundaries and challenging conventional thinking.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and convey complex marketing concepts and strategies to diverse audiences, including senior executives, stakeholders, and team members.
- MBA or Advanced Degree: An MBA or an advanced degree in marketing or a related field is strongly preferred, as it demonstrates a higher level of strategic thinking, business acumen, and leadership skills.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt to changing market trends, and navigate ambiguity and challenges with resilience, maintaining a positive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Passion for Fashion: Genuine passion for the fashion industry, an understanding of fashion trends, and a commitment to promoting inclusivity, sustainability, and positive change within the industry.
