Role Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or related engineering field with strong basics
  • Ideally, 5+ years of SolidWorks experience with good hands-on experience with components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
  • Sheetmetal components, structural Sheetmetal fabrication design engg using SolidWorks Software.
  • Knowledge of Heat Transfer, Hydraulic Network Design, Sheet Metal Design
  • Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of Enovia & Jira will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of psychometric analysis and refrigeration is a plus
  • Experience in the NPI Stage Gate process and ERP system is a plus
  • Develop and design systems using SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of design work and revisions
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in using SolidWorks for 3D modelling and design
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical concepts and engineering practices
  • Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
  • Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work
  • Familiarity with regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work on-site and attend meetings and project sites as required
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
  • Prior experience in a design engineering role is preferred
