Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee the 360-degree delivery of IoT projects. The ideal candidate will manage distributed teams, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of IoT technologies, project management, and supply chain coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of IoT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Team Management:
Manage and coordinate distributed teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across different time zones.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to team members, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to align project goals with business objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional communication and ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status, milestones, and deliverables.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing concerns.
Operational Excellence:
Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability of IoT project delivery.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user manuals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Performance Monitoring:
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Provide regular status reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing complex IoT projects, preferably with distributed teams.
Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including hardware, software, and connectivity solutions.
Excellent project management skills, with a PMP or similar certification preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with supply chain processes and experience in coordinating with supply chain teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional travel to meet with distributed teams and stakeholders.
Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate different time zones.
