Tour Executive
We are looking for a
motivated and experienced Tour Executive
to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for travel and a solid background in tour organization and visa processing. You'll be responsible for creating memorable and seamless travel experiences for our clients, from the initial planning stages to post-trip follow-up.
This is a
full-time, work-from-office position
based in Bangalore.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Tour Planning and Execution:
Design, plan, and execute customized domestic and international tour packages for individuals and groups. This includes creating detailed itineraries, booking flights, hotels, transportation, and activities, and ensuring all logistics run smoothly. - Visa and Documentation:
Manage the end-to-end visa application process for clients. This involves providing accurate information on visa requirements, assisting with form filling, collecting necessary documents, and liaising with embassies or visa processing centers to ensure timely approval. - Client Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the entire travel process. You'll address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide expert advice on destinations, local customs, and travel essentials. - Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align tour offerings with market trends and company goals. You'll also provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment. - Vendor Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, local tour guides, and other service providers to negotiate competitive rates and ensure high-quality service. - Reporting and Administration:
Maintain accurate records of all bookings, payments, and client communications. You will also prepare reports on tour performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
A minimum of
3 years of professional experience
in a similar role within a travel agency or tour company. A proven track record of successful tour planning, execution, and visa handling is a must. - Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of various travel destinations (both domestic and international), industry regulations, and current travel trends. - Technical Skills:
Proficiency in travel booking software, GDS (Global Distribution System) such as Amadeus or Sabre, and MS Office Suite. - Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
to effectively interact with clients and team members. - Strong organizational and time-management abilities,
with a keen attention to detail. - Problem-solving skills
and the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively. - Team-oriented mindset
and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
