Description

Weare looking for a dedicated Project Coordinator who is capable ofunderstanding the requirements of project undertaken by DikshaFoundation for empowering women and supporting the teams to achievethe required goals. The Project Coordinator will be responsible foroverseeing the planning execution and completion of the Poonjiproject( A project to empower women). This includes but is notlimited to project coordination stakeholder management resourceallocation and monitoring projectprogress.

ResponsibilitiesandRequirements:

  • Monitoringproject progress and creating project update reports for projectmanagers andstakeholders.

  • Assistingwith resource scheduling so that team members have the resourcesthey need to complete theirtasks.

  • Schedulingstakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between theproject manager and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Managingproject management documents such as the Gantt Chart Project Plansbudget and schedule as directed by the projectmanager.

  • Executinga variety of project management administrative tasks in anafterschool learningcenter.

  • Supportteam members when implementing risk managementstrategies.

  • Collaboratingwith Govt school administration and teachers of thelocality.

  • Ensuresmooth functioning and implementation of program activities at thecenter along with the expectedoutputs.


Requirements

  • Holdinga university degree(s) and at least 23 years of experience workingwithstudents.

  • Strongdesire and motivation to work with disadvantagedchildren.

  • Dedicationto working withwomen.

  • Willingnessto attend the professional development trainingprogram.

  • Goodspeaking reading and writing skills in the Englishlanguage.

  • Basiccomputer skills with Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint) an internetbrowser (Explorer Firefox Chrome etc.) andemail.

  • Reportwritingskills

Postgraduate/Graduate in social work, sociology, labor anddevelopment studies, education, or any other related field from anyreputed university. Minimum of 0-2-years relevant work experiencewith similar non-profit organizations. Demonstrated knowledge andexperience of implementation of social development projects.Ability to work and deliver under strict deadlines. Individualcontributor as well as a team player. Ability to work withcross-functional departments, especially government departments andinternational aid agencies Good communicator, who can put forthher/his, views in a polite manner with an ability to bringconsensus. Skilled in Spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentations.Management software would be a plus
