Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager in Accounts and Finance to oversee and manage all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, and the overall management of the accounting and finance team.
Qualifications:
· Should be a Chartered Accountant.
· Minimum of 5- 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
· Prepare and present quarterly and annual financial statements.
· Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance.
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to senior management.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
· Develop, manage, and oversee the annual budgeting process.
· Prepare forecasts and monitor financial performance against the budget.
· Analyze variances and implement corrective actions as necessary.
3. Compliance and Audit:
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
· Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
· Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
· Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions.
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
· Manage cash flow and working capital.
5. Team Management:
· Lead and manage the accounting and finance team.
· Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
6. Financial Strategy:
· Support strategic planning initiatives with financial analysis and insights.
· Advise senior management on financial matters and business decisions.
· Identify and implement financial strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
7. Taxation :
· Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns.
· Manage tax planning and compliance with all applicable tax laws.
· Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants as necessary.
8. Systems and Processes:
· Oversee and enhance financial systems and processes.
· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
· Implement technology solutions to streamline financial operations.
Skill-set required:
· Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws. Also include GST, Company Law familiarisation. Post qualification courses - DISA, IndAS certificate would be preferred.
· Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
· Full-time position based in Delhi/NCR.
· Occasional travel may be required.
