Job Summary Synechron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle HCM Solution Architect to lead the design, deployment, and ongoing support of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions across our enterprise organization. In this strategic role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders in HR, IT, and leadership to ensure that Oracle HCM Cloud systems are effectively aligned with business objectives, optimized for performance, and scalable for future growth. Your expertise will drive innovative, best-practice solutions that enhance human resources processes, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational success. Software Requirements Oracle HCM Cloud (core modules, talent management, payroll, benefits, absence management, learning) — Expert proficiency BI Publisher, OTBI for reporting — Advanced experience Oracle HCM Extracts and HDL (HCM Data Loader) — Strong working knowledge Integration tools: REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) — Proficient Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platforms Middleware and middleware integration tools Project management software (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) Overall Responsibilities Lead the architecture and solution design for Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, ensuring solutions are comprehensive, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, provide strategic guidance, and recommend best practices. Manage end-to-end project activities including configuration, data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Oversee integration strategies with other enterprise systems such as Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Finance, ensuring data consistency and system interoperability. Ensure compliance with security standards, privacy policies, and regulatory requirements within Oracle HCM environments. Drive continuous improvements by staying current on Oracle HCM Cloud updates, features, and industry trends, recommending upgrades and enhancements accordingly. Develop comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and user manuals, and facilitate training sessions for end-users and technical teams. Provide technical leadership during upgrades, new module implementations, and performance optimization initiatives. Technical Skills (By Category) Required: HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas — Advanced proficiency Preferred: SQL, PL/SQL, Java (for custom integrations or extensions) Required: Oracle databases, data migration strategies, reporting data models Preferred: Data management tools and ETL processes Required: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud platform familiarity Preferred: Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and integrations Required: REST/SOAP API development and consumption, Oracle HCM SDKs Preferred: Any relevant SDKs or developer tools used for customization Required: Agile methodologies, version control (Git), DevOps practices for deployment Preferred: Automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines Required: Role-based access controls, data encryption, audit logging Preferred: Identity Federation, Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations Experience Requirements Minimum of 7 years of professional experience with Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, configuration, and support. At least 3 years in a Solution Architect or Senior Consultant role leading complex HCM projects. Proven experience in implementing multiple Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Management. Demonstrated ability to lead architectural discussions, design scalable solutions, and oversee integrations. Industry experience in HR technology domains is preferred but not mandatory; relevant project experience in large-scale enterprises is essential. Alternative pathways include extensive hands-on experience in HR technology solutions or proven success in similar cloud-based HR systems. Day-to-Day Activities Conduct requirements gathering sessions with HR and IT teams to understand business needs. Design technical architecture diagrams and detailed solution blueprints for Oracle HCM deployment. Collaborate with developers, integrators, and testers to ensure configurations and integrations meet design specifications. Lead and participate in project planning, status meetings, and stakeholder presentations. Oversee system testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing phases. Provide technical guidance during system go-live and post-deployment support, ensuring minimal disruptions. Troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and implement upgrades or patches. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is advantageous. Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) are highly preferred. Relevant training in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is desirable. Continuous professional development in HR technology and cloud solutions is expected.
