Job Description : Scrum Master/ Manager-Embedded Software


Role : Scrum Master/Manager-Embedded Software

Designation : Assistant Manager/Manager

Department : R&D

Location :Bangalore

Experience : 6–8 years 8 Years in program Management

Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. + M.Tech. (Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation)

CTC: 15 LPA.


Role & Responsibilities:

The individual should be highly self-motivated to support the management team of R&D with regular engagements with cross-functional team members, both technical and non-technical, within the organization for the execution and delivery of project requirements and the project timeline in meeting the scope and quality of a product. Continuous engagement with the team on project execution & risk mitigation to ensure the project's health is on track.


Responsibilities

  • Develop project plan, use resource mapping, and track embedded developments
  • Identify critical activities and resources with effective communication to team members to ensure quality, cost and delivery
  • Working closely with CFT and development teams to identify risks on a day-to-day basis, look for mitigations and ensure closure of the risk
  • Prepare update and track Master project plan as per the product development Cycle.
  • The setting of priorities, allocation of tasks, coordination of project team members and assistance of the project team in order to solve problems.
  • Responsibility and ownership of the project, thus showing commitment to execute the project in accordance with the agreed plan.
  • Conduction of project meetings and preparation of reports to communicate the status of the project within the project team.
  • To support management in tracking program timeline, Risks, and MOM’s to meet the project goals
  • Liaison with all stakeholders is necessary in order to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.
  • Plan and execute continuous improvement of quality of deliverables with process compliance.
  • Foster an environment conducive to learning and development of skills.
  • Document and use lessons learned in the new projects at the project initiation phase.
  • Review of Software (in C), Design and process documents


Qualifications and Experience Required


  • Work Experience: Minimum of 6 – 8 years of experience in program Management for embedded projects.

MS Excel, MS PPT, JIRA, and MS Projects


Required Skills (Functional & Behavioral Skills)


  • Knowledge on Embedded systems: hardware, Hardware & Software interfaces, and software development methodologies.
  • Experience in C coding and SW compilation concepts
  • Excellent Project Management skills include Resources management and risk management.
  • Team handling experience with at least 6 members
  • Ability to understand and take decision on technical proposals
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving in embedded software.
  • Analytical & judgmental skills.
  • Good negotiation and convincing skills
  • MS MPP, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (JIRA preferred) or techniques.
  • PMP-certified/experienced in working with Agile process
  • Experience in Agile Scrum master role is Plus
