Job Description

Key Responsibilities of EMEA Indirect Tax Specialist -

Managing theEMEA VAT compliance service provider, includingPerforming quality review of the work performed by the compliance service provider, like standard VAT reconciliation.Authorizing the indirect tax filings and making / requesting the required accounting entries and VAT paymentsManaging required corrective actions raised by the EMEA VAT compliance service provider Monitoring EMEA VAT legislative changes and communicating those changes to key stakeholders Continuously improving the VAT related (reporting) processes for the EMEA region Act as a first point of contact for EMEA VAT related questions within the business Contribute to business projects that have touchpoints with EMEA VAT Assist with the preparation of timely responses to tax audits / inquiries for the EMEA region Maintain a good working relationship with key stakeholders within the organization Responsible for educating the business on indirect tax matters (with primary focus on the India-based EMEA P2P team)

Successful Candidate for EMEA Indirect Tax Specialist

CA/CMA/MBA 5+ years' experience in EMEA VAT Thorough understanding of EMEA VAT regulations Good understanding of and extensive hands-on experience with EMEA VAT compliance activities Experience with indirect tax processes within multinational companies Ability to translate indirect tax rules into business requirements SAP experience is required Experience with VAT determination logic in SAP is desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Analytical thinker English fluent
