CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Processes

Prepare and/or validate journal entries, review and challenge balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis Understand all sources of revenue across the EMEA business, work alongside global Finance to record and monitor revenue appropriately Produce clear reconciliations, maintain schedules and post journals to the accounting system Review and approve payments for multiple entities Play a key role with annual audits including preparation of schedules, drafting of financial statements and liaising with auditors to ensure timelines are adhered to Maintain documentation of Finance processes

Regulatory & Compliance Reporting

Responsible for the processing of scheduled regulatory reporting including UK FCA requirements and Irish CBI reporting as well as other compliance requirements throughout the EMEA region Review and maintain schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory capital and liquidity requirements  Assist with VAT and corporation tax compliance across EMEA entities and liaise with external service providers where applicable

Monitoring and Management Reporting

Ensure the meeting of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements internally and externally Assist in preparation of monthly treasury and cash forecasting reports as well as annual forecasting exercise Assist the EMEA and Global Finance teams in the provision of data for board report production Work with external providers to prepare unaudited financial statements for various entities across EMEA

ANCILLIARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with ad hoc projects as required Produce ad hoc reporting or analysis as requested by management and the business Assist with the review and maintenance of EMEA Finance policies and guidelines

Required Skills:

A self-starter with strong time management skills capable of working effectively both within a team and individually – essential Effective communicator (verbal and written) – essential Experience in the Financial Services industry within a global asset management firm – desirable Experience of UK and Irish GAAP desired with experience with other GAAP / IFRS – advantageous Demonstratable experience with European regulatory regimes and technical knowledge of the reporting requirements – preferred
