If you are passionate about helping execute people-related strategies that enable the business to achieve goals and objectives, we want to know more about youAs a Specialist supporting our total rewards team in India, you’ll serve as an expert in payroll and benefits and ensure operational excellence, compliance, and a seamless employee experience for both. You will manage third-party vendors, oversee statutory and non-statutory benefits, and ensure alignment with Our Client’s home office policies while maintaining local accountability.This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is passionate about building scalable, compliant, and employee-centric processes.Key Responsibilities:- Oversees monthly payroll and absence processing, reconciliations, and statutory filings in partnership with our payroll and absence vendor. - Ensures timely and accurate disbursement of salaries, reimbursements, statutory payments, and administration of absence records (e.g., leave, time-off) in compliance with local labor laws. - Administers statutory benefits (e.g., Provident Fund, Employers' State Insurance, gratuity, maternity) and oversees delivery of non-statutory programs (e.g., insurance, wellness) in partnership with a benefits vendor. - ·Collaborates with vendor to monitor and administer time-off and leave records, ensuring compliance with company policies and Indian labor regulations. - Maintains documentation, including standard operating procedures, continuity plans, and supports internal audits and compliance reviews. - Partners with Finance for general ledger reconciliation and reporting, and provides data, reports, and insights on payroll, absence, and benefits trends to support decision-making. - Serves as the primary liaison with third-party administrators and vendors to ensure service quality, data privacy compliance, and adherence to service level agreements. - Responds to escalated inquiries related to pay, absence, and benefits, coordinating resolution with vendors and communicating changes to programs and policies in partnership with the third-party vendor and internal stakeholders. - Monitors regulatory changes and ensures payroll, absence, and benefits programs remain compliant with India’s labor laws, partnering with local HR and U.S.-based teams to align practices, strategies, and events. - May perform other responsibilities as assigned.Qualification CriteriaQualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance or related field.Experience:- Demonstrated 8–12 years of hands-on experience in payroll, absence, and benefits administration or operations in India. - Proven experience managing vendor partners or third-party administrators and other statutory/non-statutory benefit providers in a multinational environment. - Strong experience working on Workday and all Microsoft Office tools - Project management concepts and techniques. - Able to analyze business problems, define relevant issues, define alternatives, and develop recommendations and solutions through data analysis. - Demonstrated process improvement skills.Additional information :Key Skills :- Payroll Management (India) - Absence & Leave Management - Statutory Compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Maternity) - Benefits Administration (Statutory & Non-Statutory) - Vendor & Third-Party Management - Workday HRIS Expertise - HR Operations & Service Delivery - Compensation & Total Rewards Operations - General Ledger Reconciliation & Payroll Reporting - Compliance Management (India Labor Laws) - SOP & Documentation Management - Internal Audit Support - Data Analysis & Reporting (HR Metrics) - Problem Solving & Issue Resolution - Cross-Functional Collaboration (HR, Finance, Global Teams)#TotalRewards #PayrollSpecialist #HROperations #BenefitsAdministration #CompensationAndBenefits #TotalRewardsOperations #GlobalHR #GCCHiring #MNCJobs #HyderabadJobs #PayrollManagement #WorkdayHRIS #VendorManagement #StatutoryCompliance #EmployeeBenefits #IndiaLaborLaw #ProcessImprovement #HRCompliance #HRAnalytics #AbsenceManagement #SeniorHRRoles #HRProfessional #HRJobsIndia
