Job Overview


We are hiring for the role of Edutech Business Development Manager at Akshar School Solutions Private Limited. As an Edutech Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our education technology solutions and expanding our customer base. This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and is a full-time role.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the edutech industry
  • Strong knowledge of the education sector and understanding of the challenges and opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office suite
  • Willingness to travel as needed


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategies to promote and sell our edutech solutions to schools and educational institutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential clients
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Present product demonstrations and conduct sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and materials
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and targets
  • Stay updated with industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities
