Job Title: Primavera P6 Specialist – EPC Project Scheduling & ImplementationLocation: AhmedabadJob Type: Full-Time (Off role)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experiencedPrimavera P6 Specialistwith deep expertise in project planning, scheduling, and implementation forEngineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and supporting project teams in effective planning and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimavera P6 Setup & AdministrationConfigure and maintain Primavera P6 environments, including enterprise structures (EPS, OBS), calendars, and resource libraries.Implement best practices for data security, user access, and system integrity.Project Scheduling & PlanningDevelop detailed EPC project schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS, activities, relationships, constraints, and milestones.Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction sequences into a unified schedule.Perform resource and cost loading, leveling, and forecasting.Progress Monitoring & ReportingTrack project progress, update schedules, and analyze variances.Generate reports (S-curves, histograms, dashboards) for stakeholders.Conduct schedule risk analysis and provide mitigation strategies.Integration & ImplementationCoordinate Primavera P6 integration with other systems (ERP, cost control, document management).Support implementation of Primavera across multiple projects and train project teams.Compliance & StandardsEnsure schedules comply with contractual obligations and industry standards.Maintain alignment with project controls and earned value management (EVM) principles.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical ExpertiseAdvanced proficiency inPrimavera P6(all modules and features).Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle and sequencing.Knowledge of resource and cost management within Primavera.Ability to develop, update, and analyze complex schedules using all the features of Primavera tool.ExperienceMinimum5-10 yearsof hands-on experience in Primavera P6 scheduling for EPC projects.Proven track record in implementing Primavera P6 in large-scale projects.Other SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Familiarity with project management standards (PMI, AACE) is a plus.Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and other related tools is a plus.EducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.Primavera P6 certification preferred.
