Business Development Intern– Conference Engagement

Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential participants within the target industry.
- Analyze industry trends to tailor engagement strategies.
2. Outreach and Engagement:
- Initiate communication with professionals through email, phone calls, and social media.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of our conferences.
3. Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals and decision-makers.
- Understand participant needs and align them with the objectives of the event.
4. Customized Messaging:  - Tailor communication strategies to different target audiences.
- Craft compelling messages to attract diverse participants.
5. Collaboration with Marketing:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align engagement efforts with overall event campaigns.
- Provide insights to enhance marketing strategies.
6. Achieve Engagement Targets:
- Set and meet ambitious targets for participant engagement.
- Implement creative strategies to maximize attendance.
7.Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of communication in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Provide regular updates on engagement progress.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Biotechnology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
